Welcome to the 2nd Annual PCLIA Silent Auction!
This years auction is bigger and better! This is your opportunity to “give and get.” Your winning bid “gives” a donation to PCLIA and “gets” you something in return. Some of the exciting auction items include: a fabulous dinner at Che Larson, guided fishing trips, a $1,000 gift certificate for a new dock or lift, a 22″ Blackstone griddle, waterproof Bluetooth speakers and numerous gift cards to local establishments. These are just a few of the many wonderful items available for your consideration.
Items available in the silent auction can be seen by clicking PCLIA Silent Auction Listing. There are 21 donations from members and 53 donations from local merchants. Bidding is conducted as follows:
- On-line bidding will take place September 5-6. PLEASE NOTE: On-line biding will be locked the evening of the 6th. Bidding will continue in person at the Fall Dinner Meeting. On-line bids can be surpassed at the dinner; therefore, if you don’t plan to attend the dinner make sure your online bid is very generous!
- Items will be on display at the dinner.
- Traditional in-person silent auction bidding will be open during the social and dinner periods of the Fall Dinner Meeting on September 7th at The Bridge Tavern in Crosby, and is expected to close at 7:00 PM. Feel free to attend the auction even if you are not staying for dinner.
- All bids must be in whole dollars (no cents).
- We prefer cash or check. Credit card payment is also an option.
- Winning bidders not present on the evening of the Annual Dinner Meeting will be notified September 9th.
- To the extent any bid exceeds the estimated value of an item that excess could be eligible for a charitable contribution tax deduction – depending on the tax situation of the buyer (consult your tax advisor).
Again, all proceeds go to PCLIA. Those attending the annual meeting have the last chance to bid so on-line bidders should consider this when placing bids!
