Welcome to the web site for the Portage-Crooked Lakes Improvement Association (known as PCLIA)

Attention Lake Residents and visitors:    Please use judgment when boating — try not to create large wakes with your watercraft that will wash over the shorelines and create significant erosion.  Many lake residents have been or are in the process of working in conjunction with the DNR to protect their shorelines from any further erosion.   With your cooperation, we can keep any damage to the lake and all of your shorelines to a minimum.

   Thank you!!!

Serving the Portage, Hanks, Sugar and Crooked chain of lakes.

The Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation under the laws of Minnesota, Statutes Chapter 317A.
We are classified by the Internal Revenue Service as  501(c)4

The purpose of the PCLIA is to preserve and improve the condition and quality of our lakes and the surrounding area. We strive to create a spirit of cooperation and community with all property owners on the chain of lakes.
